Cute little farm boy

  Hello Everyone!!
Lately all Kyle can talk about is tractors and daddy :) its So cute!!  Lately the only books he wants to read is ones that have tractors in them, and the toys he plays with the most is his tractors, he's such a little farm boy :)
Lately Jaylon has been mowing the weeds in the corners of the pivots near our house.  So yesterday and the day before, me and Kyle went out and rode in the tractor with Jaylon, Kyle loved it!  He kept making tractor noises the whole time and pointing at everything.  And he didn't want to sit in my lap, he had to sit in Jaylon's lap :o) He's so cute, we love our little boy so much :)

I parked the truck beside the cow pasture when I drove out to ride with Jaylon in the tractor, and I think the cows thought I had came to feed them....
They all came running up to the fence and were mooing their heads off
They looked pretty disappointed when we drove away in the tractor haha :o)

After riding in the tractor for awhile it was time for Kyle to go in for his nap.  He had to watch out the truck window as daddy drove away in the tractor

Tractor?!

--------------------------------------------

The past few days the pivot beside our house kept getting stuck in the mud.  So I had to stand at the center tower and manually run the pivot while Jaylon tried to get the pivot unstuck out the field.  Sometimes we'd be out there for almost an hour...but we finally got it unstuck yesterday!  Yay!

 ----------------------------------------

Me and Kyle love riding around with Jaylon in the work truck while he's turning on and shutting off pivots :) Its so wonderful being married to a farmer and living on part of the farm that he works on, because me and Kyle get to spend some time with Jaylon sometimes during his workday, if he's working near the house :)
The other day it started to rain while we were turning on the pivots....

Trip to Lake Pleasant

  Hello Everyone!!
This past week Me and Jaylon, Justin and Kaitlyn, Joshua, Jared, and Jesse, all headed up to Lake Pleasant for two days.  We rented a speedboat and had an awesome time cruising around the lake, tubing, kneeboarding, swimming, and just making fun memories together!  I didn't take too many pictures while there, but hopefully ya'll enjoy the few that I did take :)

Jaylon and Joshua about to go for a ride on the tube :)

The scenery around the lake was beautiful desert land.  It was crazy to be on a huge lake surrounded by cactus and desert.  We even saw four donkeys just grazing in the brush along the lake, I don't know where they came from because it was just barren desert all around.

:)

Taking a swim :) The water was So warm!

Me and Jaylon getting ready to go for a ride on the tube :)

We had a blast at Lake Pleasant!  We made many wonderful memories together :)

Cornfields, Mailbox Makeover and much more!

  Hello Everyone!!
Since it's been So long since I've posted, this is going to be quite a long post!
  Hope you enjoy!  :)

Jaylon got to fly one of the neighboring farmers drones.  So he was able to get some cool pictures of the fields!

Beautiful ear of white corn :)

You gotta watch out for the bee's this time of year!!

The corn is getting SO tall!!  Jaylon was in the middle of a field fixing a pivot, and brought this giant stalk out to show me

Jaylon climbed up to the top of the grain bins today to check out how the cornfields are looking

The fields are starting to dry out..won't be long until harvest starts.

The farm just bought a new mower..so Jaylon's been busy mowing all the grass and weeds around the edge and corners of the pivots.

He set up the GPS for the mower, so he doesn't even have to drive :o)

------------------------------------------

Kyle is growing up So much!  Everyday it seems like he's getting bigger...It's bittersweet because we love seeing him grow but at the same time we want him to stay little forever!  :)
He loves going shopping with mommy, and cuddling with the stuffed animals we find in the toy aisle :)

I love it when he falls asleep on me while we are shopping!  Soon he's going to be too big for the carrier :(

Kyle finally upgraded to a big boy carseat!  He loves it :)

Its comfy to sleep in :o)

Kyle loves playing toys!

He also enjoys pulling all the books off the shelf....and then Mommy has to pick them all up, and I'll read him some of them of course ;)

--------------------------------------

I got my pickles canned the other week!!  Can't wait to try them..

I also froze 21 quart bags of peaches!

----------------------------------------

This sad looking mailbox has been in need of a makeover for a Long time!

So the other week it Finally got one!  And of course it got painted John Deere colors ;o)

--------------------------------------

My bookshelf also got a makeover..Jaylon helped me put pallet boards on the back of it.

Stapling the boards on....

 All done!

I love it!  :)

Jaylon also built himself a computer desk out of pallet wood.  He did an Awesome job!

I looks amazing!!

Driving through a Corn Maze!

  Hello Everyone!!
Last night Jaylon had to go turn on the wells at our biggest pivot, which is one mile wide.  So me and Kyle decided to ride along with him, to keep him company :) Since this field is so big it requires two wells.  The wells are at two different spots in the middle of the field, so they had to knock down the corn for a road that runs all the way through the middle of the field, so they could get to the wells.
This is the only field that has a road running through it, all the other fields have their wells on the outside of the field.
(I apologize for the bad quality of these pictures, they were taken in the dark so they didn't get too clear)

Driving through the middle of the field...It was like driving through a corn maze :)

The two wells for this field are the only wells on the farm that are run by gas.  The reason for this is because there is a natural gas line running underground through the middle of the field.  So instead of running electric all the way to the center of the field for the wells, they just run the wells by gas.

Turning on the first well....
The two wells each have a Semi engine that runs them!  So they are Really loud when you start them up.

After we turned on the wells, and drove out of the corn maze ;) we had to drive around the edge of the field until we found the end of the pivot, so we could make sure the pivot was moving.
Me and Kyle had fun riding along with Jaylon while he started the pivot.  It was especially fun to drive through the mile long corn maze :o)

---------------------------------------------

I got my red beets canned the other day.  I only got nine jars, so I think next year I'll be planting more red beets than I did this year.   :)
