Catching up on the past month

  Hello Everyone!!
Sorry I haven't posted for a whole month!!
This post will be of all the random pictures I've taken in the past month to kinda catch you up on whats been happening.
Probably the biggest news is something that ya'll have already heard, I'm pregnant!!!  :)  We will be a family of three in June :)  We are Sooo excited!!!

Jaylon sold his truck and we bought a Chevy Malibu car

A few weeks ago I rode with Jaylon while he was disking a field in the dark

The past month they've been harvesting the corn, I got to ride with Jaylon in the tractor a few times.  The one time the neighbors in the field beside us were harvesting too and they had quite the lineup of semis lol.

They just finished corn harvest last week, so Jaylons been busy spreading chicken manure, seed, and fertilizer on the fields.

Can you see the dust whirlwind??  Sorry the picture isn't so great it was taken from inside the tractor.  We see at least a few of these a day.

Last week we got a little rain shower!  Afterwards there was this beautiful rainbow.

Here is a pretty sunset we had the other week :)  Seems like we get alot of these out here :)

Last week Jaylon had a big project of putting our computer together.  Instead of buying a computer already put together he just bought all the parts and pieced it together himself for half the price.  It looked confusing to me but he had it all together in two hours.  I was pretty proud of him ;)     sorry the pic is kinda dark

These are the two little projects I did around the house this past month.  The first one is a little coffee and tea station I set up, I like the look of the mugs hanging on the wall :)

My second project was sewing this curtain for my laundry room table, now I can hide the baskets of dirty clothes under there :)

The other day I was walking under the pecan trees and noticed there was pecans all over the ground, I've been waiting for the pecan trees to start dropping their pecans :) Bandit kept trying to eat the pecans he'd find lol

I got a big bowlful, and there will probably be more in the weeks to come :)

A perfect pecan :)  It was harder to shell pecans than I thought lol it takes awhile.

This is what happens to your flip flops after tromping through the grass under the pecan trees lol they got full of burrs, this happens alot lol ;)

I was so excited to see my three little maple trees are turning colors!  There's not very many trees out here and I miss seeing the colorful fall leaves

Well I hope ya'll enjoyed this little update of the past month :) Have a wonderful week!

Hauling Corn

Last week Jaylon was hauling semi loads of corn from grain bins about 15 min. away, to the farm.  The one morning I rode with him in the semi while he went for a load of corn.  Its always fun when I get to spend the day with Jaylon while he's working  :)

Riding along in the semi :)

Pulling up to the weigh station.  He has to weigh the semi when its empty and then weigh it again when its full of corn.

This thing tells Jaylon how much the semi weighs and then you have to fill out a card with how much it weighed before and after.

Filling up the semi with corn

Checking to see if the semi is full

While we were driving down the dirt road on our way back to the farm Jaylon saw a rattlesnake along the road.  So of course he had to get out and kill it.  That's one less rattlesnake in the valley lol.

This one wasn't just a regular diamondback rattlesnake, it was a Mohave rattlesnake, which is more poisonous than a diamondback.  Jaylon was careful when he killed it and kept a safe distance, he has alot of experience killing rattlesnakes.  This was the first time I saw a rattlesnake in AZ lol

                                            -----------------------

Last week was the Cochise county fair.  On Saturday night Me, Jaylon, Justin, Joanna, Joshua, and Joylin went to the rodeo.  We had alot of fun :)

random happenings from this month....

  Hello Everyone!!
Here's a few of the things thats been going on around here this month :)

Jaylon bought me these beautiful roses on our anniversary :)  He is So sweet :)

He got me these snapdragons a few weeks ago too, he knows I love flowers ;)

A few weeks ago we went to a friends wedding.   This is us before going  into the reception :)
Sitting with some of our awsome sisters and brother at the reception  :)

I'm an Auntie again!!  :) little Uriah is So sweet and tiny, I love to hold him.  Isn't he cute? :)

When we were driving home from town the other week, it had just rained and the sun was streaming through the clouds.  I thought it looked pretty neat :)

Bandit says Hi   :)  Look at those big ears haha, poor thing ;)

The farm sold 500 acres of corn to a local dairy.  The dairy hired custom guys to come and chop it.  It was so neat to watch, they had 3 choppers running and 18 semis!

Now that they are done chopping those 4 fields, Jaylon has to disk them all.  Yesterday I rode with him in the tractor while he was disking.

He showed me how to drive the tractor and operate the disk, it was fun!   I put on his hat and glasses while driving lol, I told him he could go wash dishes and clean the house while I finished disking haha.  He decided he'd rather disk the field haha ;)

This picture was from last month but I thought I'd add it on here.  Jaylon was working on this pivot and was pretty excited when he got it fixed haha ;)

                                                                            :)
