Vacation in Texas

Hello Everyone!!
Last week early in the morning on Wednesday we headed out on a long road trip to the southern coast in Texas.  We had a lot of fun on our road trip together :) Kyle did perfect the whole time!  I was proud of him.

Headed into New Mexico...

Headed into Texas...

14 hours later we arrived at our Hotel in Corpus Christi, TX

Thursday morning we went to the Texas State Aquarium.  It was really neat!  Kyle loved it

They also had a dolphin show... Can you spot the dolphin up in the air?

They also had a few animals outside the aquarium including this poor Bald Eagle.  We felt So bad for him, his cage wasn't very big and he kept just looking up at the sky longingly.  I wished I could have set him free

We drove past the USS Lexington after leaving the Aquarium...

Then we headed over the Bob Hall Pier to walk around.  While we were there I had Jaylon take my 35 week pregnancy photo by the ocean :)

The main reason we went to Corpus Christi, TX was so that Jaylon could get trained to fly Paramotors and we were also picking up the Paramotor he bought from his trainer.
His training started Thursday evening.  What was neat is that the area where the trainer trained Jaylon was about 50 feet from the ocean. So while Jaylon trained, me and Kyle got to hang out on the beach and play in the ocean...
The first step in Jaylon's training was learning how to kite the wing on the ground. So Thursday evening all he did was practice kiting the wing...

While Jaylon did that, me and Kyle had fun on the beach :)

This old airplane flew over really low, Kyle thought that was neat...

Walking the shoreline gathering seashells...

When he found this shell he said, "Wow a big one!  Take a picture Mommy!"

After Jaylon kited on the trainers small red training wing for awhile, he was doing so well the trainer moved him on to kiting the big wing that Jaylon would be flying with later :)

I got out Kyle's kite for him to fly...

The moon over the ocean... It was a perfect evening :)

The night ended with supper at Texas Roadhouse...

The next morning (Friday) we headed back out to beach so Jaylon could continue training and me and Kyle headed back out to our spot by the water...

Trying on his Paramotor...

Saturday morning Jaylon practiced Kiting the wing a little more but by then he had Kiting down perfectly and was ready to start flying, but unfortunately it got way to windy to fly...
So he got to spend some time with me and Kyle by the water :)

That night we had supper at a restaurant right along the ocean and ate some yummy local seafood.  We had a perfect view of the sunset from our table...

Sunday was a beautiful day and thankfully the wind had calmed down, so Jaylon was going to be able to start flying.
I got smart and finally got a little umbrella for shade haha after I had got sunburned the day before...

It was a beautiful day along the ocean...
Alot of seaweed had washed up on shore the night before...

The beach got a little crowded later in the day so me and Kyle hung out back where Jaylon was training...

He was finally flying!

I was so proud of him he did awesome!  I'm so happy that he can live out his dream of being able to fly!

That evening the beach cleared out so we took a evening walk along the water while the sun was setting, It was a beautiful evening!

Early Monday morning we started the long drive back to Arizona, with a very tightly packed car haha.  Kyle and the paramotor took up the whole back seat.  And between the luggage, random stuff, and Jaylon's big wing the trunk was overflowing!
Poor Kyle had a little bit of an upset tummy when we first left, and we had to pull off twice for him to throw up.  We got to see some pretty scenery though when we pulled off.  We pulled off beside this beautiful meadow...

And Jaylon picked me these beautiful flowers :)

Thankfully the rest of the trip Kyle felt better and we had a fun road trip home :)

Hello Everyone!!
Lately Jaylon has been Busy, Busy with the Oat Hay!  He's doing 1,800 acres of Hay all himself. First He Cuts the Oats, then Rakes the Oats, Bales the Oats, and then lastly stacks all the bales.  He's been working some long hours the past month, and is finally almost done.

Cutting the Oats with the Swather...

Riding in the Swather with Daddy...

Baling the Oats...

That brown spot on the side of the bale is a clump of Bees!

Stacking the Hay...

While Jaylon is doing the Hay, Paul is planting the corn...

The corn is starting to grow...
