Jaylon has started baling the oats the past few days.
He starts baling at midnight and bales all the way until nine in the morning...The reason he has to bale at night and in early morning is because in order to get bales with good moisture, he has to bale when there is dew...
Jaylon climbed to the top of the grain bins and got some cool pictures of one of the fields he baled...

Last week Kyle got to ride with Jaylon in the Swather for two hours.
He was so excited!!
Jaylon got Kyle all buckled into the passenger seat, and they were off...
We had a relaxing morning just walking up and down the beach in front of our resort, then we walked around and explored the resort for a little while.. While walking through the gardens at the resort we came upon this pond full of giant goldfish..
Then we saw this interesting looking bird...
Later that morning we headed to the historic little town of Lahaina, and walked front street. Lahaina used to be a whaling village many years ago..
Front street is right along the ocean and has tons of little souvenir shops, art gallery's etc. We found a few souvenirs here :) There's also tons of neat little restaurants and ice cream shops

That afternoon we headed out to see the Nakalele Blowhole. We had a difficult time finding it because we parked at the wrong area. But after hiking for awhile, we finally found it..

After hiking for quite awhile, we finally found it!
That evening we sat on the beach beside our resort and watched the sunset...Maui sunsets are beautiful! It's something you have to experience in person...
That cruise ship that we saw in Lahaina was leaving Maui just as the sun was setting...
~ Day 5 ~
We spent the whole day on Makena Beach! We had such a fun day swimming in the ocean! And we even built a sand castle ;)
We also had some snorkeling goggles, it was So awesome going underwater and seeing fish! We saw some giant schools of fish and two huge blue and yellow fish. A huge sea turtle even swam past us while we were swimming!!
The water in Maui is So clear! You can see to the bottom while your swimming in it!
We each had Body-boards and had so much fun just floating over the giant waves on the Body-boards!
Makena beach can get some Huge waves and sometimes they wipe you out! Can you see Jaylon under the water and his Body-board on top of the water?
The day ended with this beautiful rainbow view from the balcony of our room at the resort :)
~ Day 6 ~
This was sadly our last day on Maui :( But our plane didn't leave until 10 PM so we had the whole day to explore Maui some more!
First we went to Lahaina Banyan Court Park. Filling the entire park is a HUGE Banyan tree that is over 100 years old! Sheriff Owen William Smith planted the Banyan
tree in this courtyard square in 1873 to memorialize the 50th anniversary of the first American Protestant mission in Lahaina. The Banyan tree has become the largest Banyan tree in Hawaii, and one of the largest Banyan trees in the United States.
Whats crazy is that all the trees you see are all connected! The main tree is that giant one in the middle and all those trees around it grew from that main tree. They all have a branch that connects them too the main tree and to each other, if you look closely you can see it... There was at least 20 or more different trees and they were all one, it was amazing to see!
This branch goes from the main tree all the way to those other two trees!
Next we drove to the Ka'anapali Coffee Farms
This was something amazing to see too, just rolling hills of coffee bushes...
After vising the coffee farm we started making our way to the town of Kahului, where the airport is. We decided to take a different way to get there then what we normally did. This road would take us around the last small part of the island we hadn't been on yet. Now we can say we've driven all the way around the island :)
This road was very windy and narrow in spots, but the views were incredible!
Believe it or not they have some pine trees in Maui! But they aren't normal looking pine trees, they almost look fake because they are so perfect looking! They also feel different than a normal pine tree...
These flowers were growing wild along the road...
Once we reached Kahului we headed over to the Maui Ocean Center
They had so many neat looking fish there! My favorite was the little yellow ones :)
We laughed when we saw this crazy looking fish, look at the mouth on that thing!
These fish are called Unicorn fish, you can see why...
They had a Giant tank full of huge fish, sharks, and stingrays...
And you could walk right through the middle of it in an all glass walkway, so these stingrays were swimming right over our heads...
We got to touch some starfish and a few other interesting looking creatures in this tidepool...
This purple creature felt so weird to touch! He was very slimy...
After we left the Maui Ocean Center we saw two rainbows while driving down the road...
We drove past a Mcdonalds and there was a rooster running through the parking lot.. Something funny is that chickens run wild in Maui! We saw quite a few while we were in Maui. One time there was a Hen just walking down the side of the road with all her little chicks following her.
We sat on the little beach in the town of Kahului for an hour enjoying our last evening in Maui, before we had to head to the airport... We watched this giant ship pull into the port that was just to the right of us...
And then we headed to the airport and said goodbye to Maui :( it was bittersweet because we were sad to leave but yet we were missing our little boy Kyle who was back home :) A huge thanks to Jaylon's family for babysitting Kyle for us while we were on vacation!!
