Springtime!!

   Yesterday was a beautiful 80 degree spring day out here in AZ :)  Springtime is my Favorite time of the year, I love to see things getting green, the trees budding, and i love to get out and work in the garden :)
    Yesterday I planted some flower seeds out in front of the house...

   
               I can't wait until the flowers start popping up out of the ground in my little flower bed :)

                    
                      I also planted flower seeds in this little flower bed that i have on my porch

 

We have to keep the water going 24/7 on these pecan trees.........

 

 

 

A couple of weeks ago Jaylon's dad and brothers came and tore down the two old sheds that were in our back yard

                                  
 This is what the back yard looks like now :) I have had the sprinkler running on the yard for the past few days to soften up the ground so we can start planting grass :)

 

                 Jaylon has also turned the water on to all the pivots and the oats are starting to grow :)

   This is the beginnings of our little vegetable garden..Jaylon has been tilling it with a shovel and is half finished

 Here's the seeds we will be planting in our garden soon, i already have the peppers and tomatoes started in little pots though :) and there's grass that we will hopefully be planting soon :)

Bandit is growing up fast :) he is already around 6 months old.

         Here's a picture that I took about a month ago of a rainbow.  It turned into a totally full rainbow.

Noisy Cranes...

   Every morning for the past week or two at around 6:30, thousands of Very noisy cranes fly in and hang out in the fields beside our house.  Yesterday two Huge golden eagles caught a crane and were eating it in the field, unfortunately I didn't get a picture of the eagles...But i did get a video of the cranes flying in yesterday,  I think there was more  than ever, there were as far as the eye could see in the sky.....

(sorry the video quality isn't that great.  There was cranes in the sky all the way back to the mt...make sure you turn up your speaker so you can hear how noisy they are ;)

                                                                                    

Our new house!!

  I took a few pics of our new house today.  We have been living here for a month now and we really Love this house :) We are not done decorating yet or painting, but i thought i'd go ahead and put up a few pics so you can see what our house looks like :) Enjoy!

  Here is a throw pillow that I made out of one of my old sweaters.  Its not professional looking but i  think it turned out kinda cute :)

         Hope you enjoyed these pics of our house :)  Like I said we are no where near finished decorating and we still have some painting to do, so once its all finished i will post updated pics :) The rooms I didn't show you (because they're not finished yet) are the laundry room and the master bedroom.  We also have two spare bedrooms, one is my sewing and craft room, and the other is the room where my husband keeps his RC planes and weights  :)

Update on whats been happening :)

  Sorry I have not posted in such a long time...Me and Jaylon got the flu, then i spent my days packing, and now we have finally moved into our new home!!  We have been living here for almost 3 weeks and we Love it!!  I have finally gotten everything unpacked and we are settled in.  The past three weeks we have been working on painting the trim in the house, and painting our bedroom and bathroom.

        These are some heart shaped blueberry muffins I made over valentines day :) They were yummy!

                On the 15th of this month I turned 19 :) Thanks to my new family for inviting me and Jaylon over for supper on my birthday :) and for the yummy angel food cake :)

             Yesterday evening it started snowing, and then this morning we woke up to three inches or more of snow outside!!  It sure was unusual for AZ, but it didn't last to long, by lunchtime it was totally melted :)

Smelly Job

  The past few days Jaylon has had the smelly job of spreading chicken manure on all the fields.  He has 180 semi loads of chicken manure to haul on over 3500 acres...so he should be busy with that for awhile :) Yesterday I drove out to the farm to ride in the tractor with him :) while i was driving down the dirt road a herd of cows decided to say hi :)

              
                                                   He left a Huge cloud of dust behind him :)

      The loader that he used to scoop the manure into the spreader.  (the pic isn't too clear cause i was inside the tractor :)
