A suprise visitor

Hello Everyone!!

Last week Jaylon brought home a surprise visitor; Mr. Turtle. haha :o)
He found him crawling out of the cornfield after it had just rained.

Mr. Turtle didn't want to stick around to long to 'chat' haha.  As soon as Jaylon set him down he hurried off (quite fast for a turtle) back to the field.  He's obviously not the sociable type haha ;)

The turtle looked so funny as he was scurrying away :)

The other day Jaylon had to drive to the center of a pivot to work on it.  He had to drive the spray rig to get there because the corn is so tall!  The corn is currently around 14 ft tall!

You can just barely see the top of the spray rig coming through the field

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Jaylon took this neat picture of a hawk along the road

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Jaylon took some awesome pictures of some of the storms we've been getting in the valley.  We are so thankful for the rain!

This storm was right in front of the setting sun, so it was glowing orange.  Pretty cool

Jaylon was snapping pictures of the storm and didn't realize until later when he was looking through his pictures that he captured an awesome photo of the lightening!!

Have a great week everyone!!!  :)

Kyle

Hello Everyone!!

Kyle has been growing up so fast!  I can't believe he is already 10 weeks old!
The other day I sat him down for a little photoshoot, unfortunately as soon as he see's the camera he doesn't want to smile :) but I still got a few cute photos of him

                                                   'Please hold me!!!'  :)

                                                          Getting tired of pictures, haha

                                                                       Big sneeze :)

And then happy time was over.  He did not want any more pictures taken lol

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This morning he was all smiley and cooing when he woke up :)

I took this picture the other day, that lip is so pitiful :(   He just wanted Grandma lol ;)

I took Kyle clothes shopping with me yesterday, and he started to get pretty fussy, so I laid this bright colored shirt in front of him in the stroller.  It kept him entertained for awhile lol.  He had the funniest expression on his face when he was staring at it haha :o)

Playing with his toys this morning :)

Hope you enjoyed these pictures of cute little Kyle :)
Have a wonderful day :)

Stacking straw, dirtbikes, growing garden, and baby Kyle

 Hello Everyone!!

The past few days Jaylon has kept busy hauling straw bales from the field over to the farm on the semi, and then stacking them in the sheds.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

This past Saturday Jaylon and his brother Justin, drove to Phoenix in Justin's little red truck to buy dirt bikes

They had a blast on their first ride together :)

---------------------------------------------------------------------

My bean plants have really been growing like crazy since the picture from the last blog post
It looks like we're going to have alot of yummy beans

My red beets are probably going to be ready to be pulled and canned later this week

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Last week Jaylon killed this nasty snake, that was in our driveway, with his pistol.  Its a Mohave rattlesnake, they're greener and more poisonous than a diamondback.  I'm glad its dead!

            -----------------------------------------------------------------------------

See the dust storm heading for our house?  Last week we got a dust storm in front of a thunderstorm.

Jaylon mowing the back yard :)

The corn is getting really tall and most all the fields have tasseled

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Last week Jaylon took me on a date to a little Mexican restaurant.  The food was soo yummy!  I thought it was really neat how they made little holders for the taco, out of a piece of tortilla!  :)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Kyle is growing up so fast!  And hes getting So chubby!  But the chubbier he gets, the cuter he gets :)
Kyle turned 8 weeks old on Sunday.

Here's my two handsome boys ;)

                                                                 My little family :)

Well hope you enjoyed this post of random pictures :)
Have a great week!!

Enjoying Summertime

  Hello Everyone!!
We have really been enjoying summertime these past few weeks!  Mainly because Monsoon season has finally started!!!
Its so awesome to have cloudy days, thunderstorms, and the wonderful rain!  :)  We thank the Lord for all of the greatly needed rain we've gotten so far!!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The other week Jaylon was busy hauling oat seed to the grain bins with the semi.  They baled all of the oats for grass hay except for one field.  They let that field dry up and then combined it for the oat seed, so they would have oat seed to plant for next year.

Can you spot someone peeking out of the oats??
Two mule deer were hiding in the field  :)

After they were done combining, Jaylon baled all the oat straw

 --------------------------------------------------------------------------

Uh oh, one of the pivots had a slight leak lol
Jaylon and his boss had to drive to the center of the pivot, on the six wheeler, to fix it.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Jaylon took these pictures of a whirlwind about a month ago.  Before rainy season, when it was really dry and dusty, we would get whirlwinds everyday.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My garden has been doing pretty good.  Here is some of red beets that are about ready to harvest

                                                                                           Cilantro
                                                                            Green beans

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Kyle is growing up so fast.  He's already 5 weeks old and getting chubbier everyday, he already weighs 11 lbs 12 oz!!  We love him soo much and are enjoying seeing him grow and change everyday :)

His many different sleeping positions are so cute :)

This picture is terribly fuzzy, but I just had to add it becuase he looks so cute :)  He loves to sleep with his hand under his chubby cheeks :)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Well hope you all enjoyed this post about random things from the past few weeks :)
Have a wonderful day!!
