Vacation part 1

 Hello Everyone!!
 I haven't been posting lately because we just got back from a week and a half vacation back east!  :) We had an Awesome time! And it was so wonderful to see my family and friends again :)
 I took Alot of pictures during the trip so I'm gonna have to make it into two seperate blog posts.  This first post will be pics of our early 1st anniversary trip :)
  Two days after we arrived in PA, me and Jaylon borrowed my brothers car and headed to New Jersey for our anniversary trip.

  The first day of our anniversary trip we went to Island Beach State Park, NJ.  We had So much fun!!

                                The waves were so pretty!  It was a beautiful day to be at the beach :)

                                     
                              We had so much fun swimming in the ocean and floating on the waves!

                The birds were so cute lol we had fun feeding them..

            When we quit feeding them, this big seagull stood behind Jaylon and just stared at him for like 5 minutes lol he really wanted somemore food lol, it was cute :)

         Lol I had alot of fun in the ocean :) until I got bit on the toe by a crab lol, and then like 30 min. later Jaylon got bite on his toe by a crab in the water lol.  But that didn't keep us from going back out in the water again lol.

                                  The next day we went to the Baltimore Aquariuam.

                             Haha we laughed so hard when we saw this fish, he's so ugly lol.  Poor fish haha

We watched two different dolphin shows, they were so neat!

                  These were just some really cool buildings beside the Baltimore Aquariuam.  The resturant on the left (Phillips) had a seating area out on the water.

                             We stopped by this really cute candy shop in Baltimore, Jaylon had alot of fun picking out a bag full of candy lol.  He Loves candy ;) Of course I love candy too lol, their candy was Really good!

Rainbow

Yesterday evening a beautiful rainbow appeared in the sky :)

    " And there's seven colors in the rainbow. See? And its seven perfect colors is all the colors we have. And they blend together making the rainbow. And a rainbow in the Bible means a covenant. And God made His covenant with Noah, for no more water (but the fire next time), He give him the rainbow sign, and we still have it. Is that right?"

                              Here's my handsome farmer showing how tall the corn is :)
       All of the corn they grow is white corn.  They bag it in 50 pound bags and sell it to make cornflakes and other food products

A hot afternoon in July...

 Yesterday afternoon I decided to go out for a quad ride.  Before heading out the door I grabbed my new camera hoping to get some candid shots.  My sweet husband got me a camera for an early anniversary gift :)
 It was a very hot afternoon as I started up the quad and sped off. (I forgot to check if the quad had enough gas before I left, I would regret this later lol)
 I had fun taking pictures while out on my ride, so enjoy :)

  It was quite humid outside, and there was a storm rolling in from the east....

   one of the trails I rode on...

   looks like a deer was going down this trail too :)

  The mesquite trees are loaded with beans right now...

  There is pretty poppies growing everywhere :)

    Soo right after taking pictures of the poppies I was driving back down the trail when all the sudden the quad quit on me.  I couldn't believe it, I checked the gas tank and sure enough, out of gas.  I was still quite a ways from home, and there was a storm coming in the distance.  So I started walking....I eventually made it back home, put the gas can in the truck and drove out to the quad.  After filling the quad I had to drive the truck all the way back to the house then I had to make the long walk back to the quad....

         Well once I finally got the quad home I walked out to check on my garden.. The rest of my sunflowers bloomed :)

               And I got my first carrots out of the garden :)

   Well the storm never did reach us it changed direction and moved away from us.  But this morning its been raining all morning off and on :)

Latest Happenings....

  Hello Everyone!!  Sorry it has been so long since I posted.  
  Here's a little update about whats been happening out here in AZ   :)

 First of all, Monsoon season has finally arrived!!! Yay!!!  Its so wonderful to see big storm clouds rolling in and to smell the rain and hear it on the roof   :)  

Last week when a storm was rolling in we got a really bad dust storm ahead of it, it was so windy it sounded like the house was gonna blow over.

                     
                 Last week our dog tore apart my wreath......this is what it used to look like.

                     
       This is what it looked like after Bandit was finished with it.  The white pieces of wood are whats left of the wooden letter S that I had added to the wreath since the above picture had been taken.....

   
           So, I had to make a new wreath.  I actually like the new one better than the old one :)

                  The little birds nest is from PA, the birds made it out of my horse's hair.

 

                                           ~ My sunflowers are finally starting to bloom~

 The corn is getting really tall.  This field was the last planted so its not as tall as the other fields at the main farm.

       
          Last week I decided that this shelf in the hall bathroom needed a new paint job.....

         This is what it looked like when i was finished.  I drapped a fish net over it and on the wall, to add to the ocean theme :)

                   
     
   July 4th we went to the Sierra Vista fireworks display, before the fireworks the milatary orchestra played a few patriotic songs then the army fired cannons.  We had alot of fun :)

      This past Saturday Jaylon's brother Justin came over and helped Jaylon dig the holes for the fence posts, and concrete in the posts for the chain link fence in the back yard.

              They got all the posts done except for 4.  They worked hard till dark, so of course I made them a yummy supper, chicken enchiladas and blueberry cheesecake dessert  :)

                             
     
    This morning I stepped out the door to slip on my flipflops and got scared by this creepy snake.  It was just a harmless Bull snake.  So I got the shovel and killed a snake for the first time lol.
