Riding in the Tractor with Daddy!!

  Hello Everyone!!
  Yesterday Kyle rode in the tractor with Jaylon by himself for the fist time.  He's growing up so fast!

Kyle rode with Jaylon happily for three hours, then I came and rode with them for another hour.  Kyle loves his Daddy, and he loves riding in the Tractor :)

Fun in the Snow!!

  Hello Everyone!!
  Today we headed up to the Chiricahua Mountains with all the Strite family to go Tubing in the snow!  We had So much fun!

Two days ago we got snow at our house!!  It was pretty exciting :) It wasn't near as much as what was in the Mountains today, but it was still snow :)

It was neat to wake up the next morning and see everything dusted with snow...

The next morning after it had snowed we had to drive into town, and we drove through an area where there was about three inches of snow! 

Sorry about all the pictures of snow, but when you live in Arizona you get excited when you see snow :)

Jaylon has still been busy in the fields lately :) but a few days ago we got a 1/2 inch of rain right before we got snow.  So he's had a break from field work the past few days and has just been catching up on some other work that needs done around the farm, shop work, and some tractor maintenance...

He took these pictures last week when he was loading Oat Seed from the bin into the semi...

Then he drives the semi back over to the farm, loads the Oat Seed in the spreader, and then spreads the Oat seed onto the fields :)

About two weeks ago I saw this roadrunner out in my front yard.  So I snuck outside to take a picture of him.  I couldn't believe that he let me walk Right up to him!  I was literally standing beside him in this picture.  

 Then he took off to the front porch..

Eventually he took off running back out to the field...  But ever since that day, I have been seeing him randomly around the house at least every other day.  And then a few days ago he jumped up on the kitchen windowsill and was looking in the window at me and going peck peck on the window, and then he took off...  A little strange haha, I guess I have a new pet for the back yard haha ;)

Visiting the Zoo!!

  Hello Everyone!!
  This past weekend Me and Jaylon took Kyle to the Tucson Zoo!  It was Kyle's first time at a Zoo and he had So much fun!  Of course Me and Jaylon had fun too, it's always fun to visit a Zoo :)

I think Kyle's favorite was the Turtles :)

This Anteater was hilarious looking!

A visitor from Pennsylvania!!

  Hello Everyone!!
  Sorry It's been awhile since I've posted!  I've been keeping busy these past few weeks..

  At the beginning of this month we had a very special visitor from Pennsylvania; my Mom!  Kyle had So much fun with his Grandma!  It was so wonderful to have her here for a few days, was very sad to see her leave..  I think we will have to make a trip to PA in the near future :)

She was trying to sneak him in her carry-on bag  ;)

Kyle has been growing up so much, just this past month....

Kyle loves his books... 

  Lately he brings his books and sits by my feet and quietly looks through them while I'm washing dishes or something :) Its so cute!

I always enjoy decorating for Christmas...

We got this cute ornament the first Christmas we were married, so this past year I finally bought Kyle his own ornament with the year he was born on it :)

Made this garland with branches from our pine trees..

My Favorite Christmas decoration to set up is the manger scene :)

Its been awhile since I've posted updated pictures of some of the new decorating I've done around the house...

I made this photo collage a few months ago...

And Jaylon installed rock back splash in the whole kitchen for me!  He's so sweet :) He did such a good job

I also recently added these mirrors in our bedroom.. 

 Sometime I'll have to do a post with a full house tour :)

Jaylon is still busy with all the field work.  They are hoping to have it all done by the end of January

I drove over to the main farm the other day and thought it was neat how they had all the tractors and equipment lined up...

  

There was a fourth tractor with the spreader at the end of the line, but couldn't fit them all in one picture..

Last week It was colder than I can ever remember it being out here!  The temperature was getting down in the single digits at night!  And it even was snowing one day at our house, but it didn't stick.  They did get a lot of snow up on the mountains though...

This week thankfully it has been warming back up a bit to normal AZ winter temperatures. 

 I enjoy seeing the snow, but I think I enjoy my warm weather more :)
